Ky Carson, originally from Chicago, Illinois, comes from a big family with both parents. He learned his work ethic and character development skills from his parents, who are both pillars in their community. Ky begin his career as a medical technician and begin doing hair on the side as a hobby. As he continued going to school for his EMT and Medical Coding License, his love for hair grew and passion for the medical field dwindled.  

As Ky began doing his sister, nieces, cousins’ hair, he became more intrigued by his ability to naturally style his family. Taking the advice of his best friend, Marquetta and his mother, he decided to pursue his dream as a Hair Stylist for women and men. He started in Vici Beauty School in Chicago, Illinois to obtain his Cosmetology License. One year later, Ky had been licensed in State of Illinois to style hair. Additionally, Ky decided to expand his styling skills and cut men’s hair, color, braid, and dreadlocks. 

Ky continued to refine his skills and go to college to receive a Bachelors in Business Management Illinois State University. His goal is to open his own salon in the future to be named, KyiWorld. Ky’s dream is to continue to further his knowledge and expertise in the hair and beauty industry to brand his style, professionalism, and integrity.  Through several disappointing moments, tragedies, and hardships, Ky has persevered to later move his services to Miami, Florida. 

Currently, Ky is licensed in Wisconsin, Florida, Illinois, California, and New York. Ky continues to enlarge his brand by continuing to obtain license across the country moving into a global franchise.  Ky’s heart is to provide excellent service to his clients and with his level of ambition, humility, integrity, loyalty, and professionalism. KyiWorld will raise the standard of beauty in hair in the world.
